At a young age, I showed a strong interest in color and artwork, even if it was just in the form of coloring books. In college, I put aside the crayons and began a love affair with graphic design. The University of Oregon provided excellent opportunities, allowing me to earn a Bachelor of Science in Fine and Applied Arts: Visual Design. A science degree for an artist? Yes. Computer-generated graphics were still new at that time but it was clear, this was the future of design for me.
